AgilityIO client, Cheapism, has officially released their brand new site to the world. What is Cheapism? Here’s an idea in their own words:

At Cheapism, we find the best cheap products out there and tell you what they are. We scour the internet for news stories and resources that are informative and fun and can help you save money.

A year ago, Cheapism approached us for help to meet three objectives:

  1. Revamp their existing site to allow better usability and acquire a more modern look-and-feel.
  2. Build a new CMS to simplify the process for content management and publishing
  3. Collaborate with their SEO team and apply their SEO strategy, in terms of both design and tech, to achieve better Google rankings

Our designers worked closely with the Cheapism team, creating wireframes and visual mockups that fit the company’s branding guide and required functionality. Then the development team swooped in and completed the rest.

“The most exciting thing about this project was balancing user experience (UX) priorities with SEO, which is something companies need to put an emphasis on, and Cheapism gets it,” said Angelina Ho, AgilityIO’s vice president of user experience. In addition to creating mobile-responsive pages, the team also design Accelerated Mobile Pages (AMP) that enables Google to index and crawl.

Max Levitte, CEO of Cheapism.com, had this to say about working with us: “AgilityIO’s team is extremely competent and accommodating. They successfully built a large and complex website, mobile site and CMS for us. No task was too big or too small for them. They showed a deep understanding of the project and were creative and thoughtful along the way. They are pleasant to work with and are responsible and reasonable when changes were needed. They are an outside contractor that makes the client feel they are in-house. We plan to keep working with them for years to come.”

Aw, shucks. We love working with them too.
